2018 Power Grid Defense Symposium
Embassy Suites Hotel and Spa, Huntsville, Alabama

Click for Symposium Flyer

The symposium will feature local, regional and national speakers. Some of the topics include; power grid vulnerabilities, status of grid hardening in other states, and emergency management preparation ideas. We will also discuss ways to educate the public, policy makers and state and local first responders about the risks to the power grid. We are a grass roots organization with the goal of ensuring that our power grid is protected against the effects of EMP, Coronal Mass Ejections, Cyber and Kinetic Attacks. As such, the majority of the topics will be related to the various ways in which the grid is vulnerable. We also intend to have topics for the Emergency Management folks that would be attending.

Symposium Special Dinner and Networking Event

In addition to our 3-day symposium on Grid Security, more on that later, we will be having a special dinner event with Dr. Peter Vincent Pry, Executive Director of the Task Force on National and Homeland Security on U.S. Space Force and it's implications. Dr. Pry often appear on TV and radio as an expert on national security issues.
